In June of 2024 I traveled to Lviv in Ukraine for the first time as a simple tourist. In June 2025 I traveled to Lviv again, but this time I tried to teach and mentor students of the Catholic University of Ukraine to improve their German language skills. These activities will likely extend into 2026 and beyond when, hopefully, Russia’s war of aggression will be over and a free and democratic Ukraine will be at peace again.
